Hi, my name is Ariel, and my sister and I are heartbroken to share that our mom passed away from a drug overdose on July 10th.
We’re still in shock, trying to process the loss and also carry the responsibility of making her final arrangements. She didn’t have a will, savings, or resources — and we don’t have any direct family who can help us financially.
We’re raising funds to help cover the cost of cremation and final arrangements, and if we’re able, a small remembrance to honor her life. Despite how she passed, we want her to be remembered with compassion and dignity — for the full human being she was, not just the struggle she carried.
We don’t want this to come down to only what we can afford. We want to give her a proper goodbye and give our family space to mourn and remember her.
All donations will go directly toward her services and supporting my sister and me during this painful time. If you’re not in a place to give, sharing this means just as much.
Thank you so much for reading, for caring, and for standing with us.
Our goal is to raise at least $1,300 to cover the cost of cremation, basic arrangements, and to allow space for a small memorial or remembrance if we pass our goal. Any remaining funds will help support my sister and me as we navigate this loss without direct financial support.
