Last weekend on Saturday September 7 our worst fears came true and we lost our wonderful father Abet. While we all know that this is part of life, its never easy, a terrible pain and huge loss to our family. Everyone who knew my Dad knows he was very stubborn about admitting he needed help and never wanted to ask for it. He seemed like he was getting weaker and he assured us he was okay but later we discovered he had COPD that caused complications in his breathing that led to his passing. I can’t thank the family enough for coming together when he stopped responding to phone calls because he was the sole person taking care of my Mom whom he was married to for 53 years and she needs constant care. He was a very loving and loyal father that could never turn his back on any of us when we needed help in any way, whether it was financially, or carrying heavy things despite his age. My dad would give so unselfishly and never expect anything in return. We’re going to miss his humor, words of wisdom, guidance and above all the love he showed us.

Those that have lost loved ones know that funerals and burial costs can be very expensive. As his passing was untimely our family is taking a huge financial hit saying goodbye to my father as he had no life insurance, plot or any guidance for us in this situation. We humbly ask that anyone that can provide any assistance please help in this desperate time of need. Even  if you are unable to donate, my family greatly appreciates your thoughts and prayers.
