As you all know, mom’s been battling anaplastic large cell lymphoma for years. She was first diagnosed in 2018 where she underwent a year of chemo/radiation and went into remission. They warned her it would probably come back in 5 years. It did just that. In 2024, it was back and more aggressive than last time.
She underwent more chemo, appointments constantly, many hospital stays, and even a clinical trial and bone marrow transplant. She fought and tried so many different treatment options this last year.
Unfortunately, cancer had other plans. We were told in may she was out of treatment options and went on hospice care shortly after. My beautiful, strong mother left this earth July 15th 2025. I’m not going to say she “lost her battle” because she didn’t, she won. She’s painful free and lived so much longer than they thought she would because she doesn’t give up.
We’re starting this fund to help give mom the viewing/cremation she deserves. As well as help my brother and I be able to be off work a little longer because this has been SO much harder than any of us ever expected. Just a little break for our family in this terrible time.
