Help Us Say Goodbye To Our Beloved T-Jay

Dearest friends and animal lovers,

Our names are Sophia and Lisa and we are preparing to say our unexpected goodbyes to our bestest friend and beloved childhood dog, T-Jay.

It all started at STC'S PJ's Pet Shop, when we were casually walking by and saw that they had put the dogs up for sale. We didn't have any intentions on getting a dog that day, but the moment T-Jay laid his eyes on both Lisa and I, we were smitten and knew he was special and was meant to be with us.

For the past 14 years, T-Jay has been our loyal and loving companion. Our favorite memory of Teej that comes to mind was when we brought him over to a friend's house so he could play with her dog. We left him sitting on the porch, but he got loose and started to run away. He ran straight home and waited for us patiently by the door. T-Jay knew where his home was, but little did he know that he was our home. T-Jay is the silliest, sassiest and sweetest dog we could have ever asked for. He loves pizza crust and apples, running in the snow, car rides with the windows down, listening to BTS with Sophia, and long walks in the park with Lisa.

On January 31st, T-Jay unexpectedly fell ill. After taking him to the vet, we learned that he had pancreatitis. Pancreatits is swelling in a dog's pancreas. For T-Jay this means that he is enduring a lot of pain and discomfort in his abdomen, refusing to eat his favorite foods, lethargy and vomiting. As a result, this has also affected his kidneys and overall health. For the past week, T-Jay has been put on multiple medications to help with the pain and discomfort, as well as being put on an IV to keep him hydrated. Unfortunately, there has been little to no improvement to his health and quality of life, and it is with the heaviest heart that we have decided to choose euthanasia.

There was nothing for us to prepare for these sudden events and we humbly ask for your support to help cover the costs for T-Jay's inhospitalization, medications, blood work, ultra sound and aftercare.
