Myself and the Southern Rock Restaurants family were extremely devastated with the news of Ms. Kim Burkett’s passing on Thursday, August 26th. We can confidently speak for everyone that knew and loved Kim, that she was a such a bright light to everyone she met in and out of the Deli. She always focused on positivity and motivating others to do their best. There are no words that will express how much she will be missed.

Her love for her sons and family was unmatched. We will forever be changed and forever hurt with her absence.

The money raised will help with her funeral expenses. She touched so many lives in her short 41 years of life and we want everyone who wants to be given the opportunity to see her one last time before she is put to rest. She will now be watching over us all.
