Help Us Say Goodbye to Annyeong (Hello)
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that we prepare to say goodbye to our beloved Annyeong. A surgery gave her an extra amazing year, full of mountains and oceans and magical PNW forest adventures, but now it's time to do right by her and give her the peace the bestest grrl deserves.
Anyone who has met Annyeong knows what a joy she's been to the world, and for my family personally, she's been our floofy rock through some of the most difficult life transitions. Her name – 'hello' in Korean – fit her perfectly...countless passing strangers would crack beaming grins at the sight of her sammy smile.
While we did the best for the poor pupper, we felt it unfair to put her through painful treatments she's unable to consent to. That said, the costs still racked up for palliative care and compassionate at-home euthanasia will add to those.
I don't often ask for help; as anyone who knows me knows well, but we've been stretched financially by numerous circumstances out of our control and could use a bit of mutual aid at the moment. I know times are tough for everyone, and there are countless others in more dire need I'm sure, but if you have a few spare bucks to throw our way to help, it's much appreciated. I'll try to send a stupidly cute thank-you card of Annyeong to any who donate and let me know where to send it.
So...here's to the bestest of puppers, the ghosty with the mosty, the girl whose eye-liner is always on point...Bongyong, Annyay, Bongabae, Nanners, Feathers....the one, the only...Annyeong.
