Help Us Say Goodbye: Support for Funeral Costs & Family Travel

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share this painful update about our beloved Son and brother, who has been in hospital since January after suffering burns to 75% of his body. Despite the many months of surgeries, treatment, and unimaginable pain, his fight is now coming to an end.

The doctors have told us that he is in the final stage of life. His body can no longer recover — sepsis has spread throughout, and all life-saving treatments have been stopped. He is now on palliative care, being kept as comfortable as possible while surrounded by love.

We are asking for help — not just for funeral costs, but to allow us to be by his side in these final moments. Every moment we get with him is a gift, and we want to ensure he is not alone as he transitions from this life.

Unfortunately, we’ve already reached out to Centrelink and other support services, but no assistance is available. We are relying entirely on the kindness of our community — friends, family, and even strangers — to help us through this devastating time.
