Hi, my name is Indira Ocampo, I'm from Bolivia and I live in Madrid. My cousin Adriana Justiniano is in Guarayos (Bolivia) at the moment, evaluating the wildfire situation in the region of the Amazon jungle. These are the worst fires we have seen in the past 200 years; many animals and ecosystems have died, indigenous communities are being relocalized, and the firemen are completely unequipped and understaffed. The only thing that we can do is to buy some equipment to stop the fire (like wildland firefighter backpacks and if possible drones to anticipate the expansion of fire spots). Unfortunately, our country lacks environmental protection laws and currently the only thing we can do as average people, who are not linked to any NGO nor foundation whatsoever, is to help by starting this fundraiser and buying the necessary equipment. Upon completion of this fundraiser, I will send this money to my cousin so that she can buy the equipment and deliver them personally

to the firemen. We will publish pictures of the items bought in our instagram and facebook pages: @indimiski and @adrijustiniano. It's difficult to be away and feel that you can do nothing, when back at home people are struggling. This situation is heartbreaking, please help us stop the fires in the Amazon jungle in our country!
