Help us save this loving gentle giant

My name is Heather, and though this sort of thing is out of the norm for my family and myself. I’m asking for help, I know this time of year it is hard for everyone, but any little

bit will help. On Wednesday December 6th my brothers English Mastiff was accidentally hit in their driveway, while chasing my sister in laws car as she drove the boys to the bus stop. A typical game he played daily, unfortunately yesterday morning was a tragic event for my nephews and sister in law to experience. He was rushed to AVets in Monroeville telling my brother and sister in law Surgery be necessary for the severity of his break, but that would cost $10,000, and if they couldn’t afford that than amputation would be $5,000. They didn’t recommended him having amputation because large dogs do not do well. He ended up taking their dog Magnus home last night calling every vet in the area, dozens and dozens of vets all who will not take him because of his size or they just cannot afford the surgery. They found a vet in Ebensburg that feels confident in giving him the surgery and that he will do well with it, but it will cost 4,500 and they have already spent 1,800 for the emergency visit. I’m asking for anyone who can donate to please try, he is only 6 and is the sweetest kindest gentle giant. They feel their last resort would be putting him down, and that just cannot be the answer. Anyone who knows my family knows we would never do anything like this, but I can’t see my nephews go through this along with my brother and sister in law.
