Sweet T is a 16-year-old Quarter Horse at our barn who is battling a mysterious illness. We're not quite sure of the cause, although the tests so far point to a GI infection. We do know that Sweet T has been a wonderful companion and cherished member of our lives, and deserves the best chance at regaining health. He's been an excellent show companion and a patient teacher to all ages! Our hearts are broken that he is suffering, and we are doing all we can to ensure his comfort. We are reaching out to our incredible community for assistance in covering the mounting veterinary bills that have accrued during his ongoing treatment.
Sweet T's journey began with alarming symptoms of discomfort and distress. Recognizing the urgency of his condition, we had him examined and later, as his condition worsened, he received 24 hour care at the vet hospital. Since then, Sweet T has been undergoing a battery of tests, receiving round-the-clock care - patiently enduring tests and treatments to try and bring him back to health. He's lost at least 200 lb and is still in distress, eating very little and very slowly, but we are thankful that he is at least eating. We are hopeful that the tests will find the answer to this illness, and that the treatments will work, given time.
As you can probably imagine, the financial strain has become overwhelming. The costs associated with his extensive tests, treatments, and the continuous monitoring of his condition have accumulated rapidly. We are doing everything in our power to support Sweet T's recovery, but we now find ourselves in desperate need of further assistance to help us cover his mounting veterinary bills.
We kindly request that you consider making a donation to our GoFundMe campaign for Sweet T. Each dollar brings us closer to our goal and offers us renewed hope for his full recovery. Furthermore, we kindly ask you to share our campaign on your social media platforms and within your network, expanding our reach and increasing the chances of a successful fundraiser.
On behalf of Sweet T, our barn family, and the dedicated veterinary team, we extend our deepest gratitude for any and all support during this challenging time.
