Help Us Save Squeakers Life We Need Your Help

We were noticing something was off with our Squeakers. Sometimes animals don't feel so well just like humans. Well the day went on and he never got any better. We saw a pool of blood by his litter box and called our vet. It was almost closing so they referred us to an Emergency Vet about a hour away that was open much later. We get there and they can tell by feel that he is " blocked ". Since they were closing eventually they said you need a 24 hour hospital where he can have aftercare.

She told us that if she did the unblocking there it would likely blocked before we got home and we be back to pay for it again or pay for euthanasia. We paid them and rushed over to the OTHER Emergency Vet Hospital. She said go now, I am not sure if he will make the drive there. It was over a hour away. We get there wait a couple more hours and were told that it would be close to $4,000 give or take some money for miscellaneous ( in case they had to revive him after anesthesia. )

This hospital comes in and gives us their estimate and we flat out told them, we don't have that money. They reworked the numbers and got something a little lower. That being said whatever the number was they wanted AT LEAST 75% of the money up front as a " down payment " . I told her what we could give and she refused to accept it. We eventually figured out how we could give part of it, enough that they could start the surgery. She told me that he wouldn't make it until morning. What was my choice? Kill our family pet, max out cards and take away from our kids Christmas? I had no words.. Well I had to choose the second.

But that's not it, we get a call saying they can't do the surgery because now it's something different. In reality they CAN do the surgery if we could give them even MORE money. They told us to call our local vet because it would be cheaper. I just paid you all this money for you to do what? Tell me you can't.. All in all, it's I come up with a miracle or I have to our our pet to sleep. We are at our max, this year hasn't been kind & we are sad to ask for help but here it is. We are so sorry to ask but everyone needs help sometimes. If you decide to help it would me so amazing and the money raised would go towards his surgery and aftercare.
