Hi, my name is Samantha, and I’m fundraising for my little brother Noah’s dog, Smokey, who was tragically hit by a car in a hit-and-run accident. The driver didn’t stop — and when the police arrived, they sadly said nothing could be done because our pup had gotten out without his leash.

Smokey is more than just a pet — he’s my little brother’s best friend and emotional support. This accident has devastated our whole family. Right now, he’s fighting for his life and needs emergency surgery. The starting cost is $3,000, and that doesn’t include medication, follow-up care, or overnight monitoring.

Our family is trying to gather the money as quickly as we can — but we can’t do it alone.

If we can’t raise the funds in time, we’ve been told the only other option may be to put Smokey to sleep — and that’s something we are praying we won’t have to face.
