Help us save Scout: new BFPA puppy in critical condition

BFPA rescued Scout from Vance County Shelter on Friday. This little fella was estimated to be 6 weeks old by the shelter staff and he appeared to be a healthy puppy. On Saturday his foster was concerned as he didn't have much interest in eating, so we had him seen at the emergency vet as parvo is always on the mind with unvaccinated puppies. His parvo test came back negative and was treated with fluids and some anti-nauseous medication. On Sunday, he started the day off with some energy but that was short lived. Another trip was made to the ER to make him comfortable until seeing the regular vet this morning. Due to his condition, the vet recommended sending him back to emergency care and having him admitted for IV fluids and further testing. He was hospitalized earlier today and we are hoping we can get some answers to what is causing him to be so sick. The vets also believe this little fella might be younger than 6 weeks and we hope his little body can keep up the fight to recovery. We are anticipating an ER bill of at least $2400 and hoping our supporters can help contribute so we can continue to help little puppies like Scout. No donation is too small!
