Help Us Save Santana – Cancer Treatment at Hope4Cancer

Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

I never thought I’d be writing something like this — but today, I’m asking for your help with the most important fight of our lives. In May, my husband Santana, the love of my life, went to the emergency room for what we thought might be an ulcer. Instead, we heard the words no one is ever ready for:
“You likely have lymphoma.”

After scans, biopsies, and endless prayers, our worst fears were confirmed:
Stage 4 Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma.

The diagnosis took my breath away. Everything changed in that moment.

And yet, Santana remains a rock - strong, courageous, and full of faith. He has faced this with the same quiet strength and grace he’s shown his entire life - in our home, in his community, and during his service to our country.

⚓ A Navy Veteran, a Devoted Father, and the Heart of Our Family

Santana is not only a proud U.S. Navy veteran, but also a deeply devoted father to his five children - and a loving bonus dad to my three. He is the glue of our blended family.
Our kids adore him. I need my husband. They need their dad.
And none of us are ready to give up hope.

To make this even more difficult, Santana will likely not receive military disability compensation during treatment - leaving us to face the enormous cost of care without the support he earned through his service.

Why Hope4Cancer?

After deep research and prayerful reflection, we’ve chosen Hope4Cancer Treatment Centers for his care. Their integrative, non-toxic approach focuses on more than just the disease — it treats the whole person: body, mind, and spirit.
They offer:
  • Non-toxic alternative therapies
  • Immune system restoration
  • Personalized care plans
  • Emotional and spiritual healing

We believe this is the best path forward.

How Your Donation Will Help

Hope4Cancer requires out-of-pocket payment, and we are facing urgent financial need to raise $61,000 for:
  • Intensive inpatient treatment
  • Medical tests and monitoring
  • Travel and lodging
  • Nutrition, recovery, and long-term care

Every donation — big or small — brings us one step closer to healing.
If you cannot give, please share this campaign. You never know who might be able to help.

On a Personal Note

For those of you who know me well, you know I’ve been through my share of storms. I’ve watched my home burn to the ground, survived a difficult and toxic marriage, and endured over eight years of an unnecessarily painful and drawn-out divorce. And somehow, I found the strength to rebuild.

Then — when I least expected it — Santana came into my life. He brought laughter, love, and a lightness I didn’t realize I’d been missing. He reminds me every day not to take life so seriously — to breathe, to smile, to dance in the kitchen.

And he’s not done yet.
He still has so much more joy to give. So much more to teach us.
I need him here. Our children need him.
Please help us give him the chance to heal.

A Note About Your Support

We know we are asking for a lot, and we don’t take that lightly. If for any reason we are unable to meet our full fundraising goal, every dollar raised will still go directly toward supportive therapies, nutrition, and care to help Santana through his cancer journey. Your kindness will make a real impact, no matter what.

We’re Not Giving Up

Cancer may have shaken our world, but it hasn’t broken our spirit. We believe in miracles. We believe in community. And most of all, we believe in love.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us.
Your prayers, your support, and your kindness mean everything.

With deepest gratitude,
Amy & Santana
