This is Pancakes the Corgi. He is a ball of joy and is loved so fiercely. As long as I can remember, Tyler and Becky have been obsessed with corgis. They are both Kindergarten teachers, so you can imagine their surprise when they were given the greatest gift from our Grandma, Pancakes! You can tell by the picture just how excited they were to get him. (Matching outfits and all!) 

Pancakes recently started not feeling well. They took him to the vet, and the vet didn’t find anything and sent them on their way. Being good parents, they got doggy insurance for him, just in case. Well, Pancakes got sick again, and this time they discovered the cause. He has a liver shunt, which means his blood is not being filtered through his liver, and needs surgery in order to survive. Pancakes is only 13 weeks, and with this surgery he will likely live a long and healthy life. Without this surgery, he would only have a couple months to a year filled with medications, special diets, vet visits and pain.
