Help Us Save Padfoot – ER Vet Fund for My Handsome Boy

Hi everyone,

I’m writing this with a very heavy heart and an urgent plea for help. My handsome baby boy Padfoot, is currently fighting for his life.

Padfoot was diagnosed with diabetes back in January. We started him on insulin right away, and while he didn’t improve much at first, his vet adjusted the dosage and for a while, things seemed to be looking up. But just two days ago, everything changed. He became lethargic, shaky, disoriented, and started drinking huge amounts of water. He could barely stand.

This morning, we rushed him to the vet and got devastating news — Padfoot is in Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA), a life-threatening complication of diabetes. He needs intensive, emergency treatment and hospitalization to survive. The cost is overwhelming — we’re looking at a $10,000 medical bill, and time is critical.

Padfoot is more than just a pet — he’s my best friend, Amanda's shadow, and the heart of our home. He’s a big boy but has the softest heart. He’s endlessly patient with our nieces and nephews climbing all over him like he’s a pony, and he happily lets our cats curl up against him for naps. He loves unconditionally and brings comfort to everyone around him.

If you’ve ever known the love of a dog like Padfoot, you know how impossible it is to see them in pain and feel helpless. We’re doing everything we can, but we can’t do this alone.
