Help us Save our Sweet Paisley

Paisley is our beloved 1.5-year-old Golden Retriever — the sweetest, silliest, most loving companion we could ever ask for. In just over a year, she’s become the heart of our home with her goofy expressions, endless cuddles, and pure joy for life. She loves swimming, pup cups, and making new friends (both dogs and people!) at the dog park. Everyone who meets her instantly has a smile on their face!

Recently, Paisley suddenly developed a limp in her right hind leg, which quickly progressed into a painful and rapidly worsening condition. She has now lost most of her motor function and muscle in her hind limbs, and the cause remains a mystery.

We’ve already invested a significant amount into her care, including multiple specialist visits with orthopedic and neurology teams, along with a wide range of diagnostic tests — all of which have yet to provide answers. Her condition continues to decline, and time is now critical. The next urgent step is an MRI and spinal tap, which could finally lead us to a diagnosis and, most importantly, a treatment plan — before it's too late.

Paisley has been a source of comfort and love during one of the hardest transitions in our lives. As I began medical school and moved 11 hours away from my husband, who is currently serving on active duty in the Army, Paisley has been my constant, loyal companion. She deserves every chance at recovery, but we’re currently managing a single income, double rent, and student expenses — and we need help.
