A few days ago, Molly suddenly became very sick. She started vomiting, became lethargic, and clearly showed signs that something was very wrong. We rushed her to the emergency veterinary hospital, where tests and an ultrasound revealed a blockage in her lower intestine. The vets believe she accidentally swallowed a foreign object, and the obstruction was causing dangerous inflammation.
Because intestinal blockages can quickly turn life-threatening, the doctors told us she needed emergency surgery to save her life.
Molly has been incredibly strong through all of this. Her vitals and bloodwork have remained stable, and despite being sick, she still wags her tail every time someone comes to check on her. She is a loving, gentle dog who has become such an important part of our family in the short time we’ve had her.
Unfortunately, the cost of her surgery and hospital care is $7,335.51, which is far more than we were financially prepared for. This was an unexpected medical emergency, and we’re doing everything we can to make sure Molly gets the care she needs, but we can’t cover the full cost on our own.
We’re asking for help from friends, family, and anyone willing to support Molly’s recovery. Any amount truly helps, even the smallest contribution. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser also means the world to us.
Molly deserves the chance to come home, heal, and get back to being the happy, sweet dog we love so much. Thank you for taking the time to read her story and for any support you’re able to give. ❤️
