My brother’s and niece’s beloved dog, Cheech, has suddenly fallen very ill. He hasn’t eaten since Friday, and despite numerous tests, our veterinarian still isn’t certain what’s causing his decline. What we do know is that his condition is serious—he may need a blood transfusion and several other treatments to give him the best chance at recovery.

So far, his care has already reached $6,000, and the doctors estimate that the final costs could exceed $15,000. It’s an overwhelming figure, but Cheech is family, and we are determined to do everything we can to give him the chance he deserves.
