Our beloved cat Baby is suffering from a severe lung infection and needs emergency surgery to survive. He’s only five years old—with so much life left to live, so many people left to charm, and so many cuddles left to share with his little sister, Luna.

Anybody who has met Baby knows he’s the kind of cat who leaves an impression on everyone he meets. Truly—everyone who meets him falls in love, and he loves them right back. He’s never met a stranger, only new best friends. He’s the social butterfly of our home, the heart of our little family, and the gentlest big brother to Luna—who, as you’ll see in one of the photos, even wears him like a living scarf (he doesn’t mind one bit).

Other animal lovers will know that our pets are not just pets—they are soulful companions. Baby’s soul is one of the brightest I’ve ever known, and it’s deeply, permanently entwined with mine.
