Hi, my name is Grace, and I am humbly asking for medical and financial assistance for my sister-in-law’s treatment. Below is a message from my niece sharing their situation:

Hi, I’m Jaissa, and I am humbly asking for medical and financial assistance for our mama’s treatment.

Our hearts are heavy as we reach out for help for our beloved mother, Mariphy Asi (52), who is courageously battling Stage 4 lung cancer that has now spread to her brain.

She is more than just our mom she is our strength, our comfort, and the heart of our family. Right now, she is facing the hardest battle of her life, and we are doing everything we can to fight alongside her.

Every 21 days, we travel from Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro, to the Lung Center of the Philippines in Manila for her treatment. Each journey is exhausting physically, emotionally, and financially but we continue because giving up on her is not an option.

Her life-saving treatment comes at a cost we can no longer carry on our own:

• IV chemotherapy (Pemetrexed): ~₱50,000 ($824) per 21 days

• Targeted therapy (Tagrisso / Osimertinib): ~₱90,000 ($1,483) per month

• Maintenance medicines: ~₱10,000 ($165) monthly

• PET scan (every 6 months): ~₱61,000 ($1,005)

On top of these are travel expenses, check-ups, and other hospital costs that continue to grow.

We have reached out to DSWD, PCSO, and even the Office of the President. While their support has truly helped us, it is still not enough to sustain her ongoing treatment, especially since most of the medicines are not available at the hospital.

Today, we find ourselves financially exhausted but still holding on to hope.

Our mama continues to fight with everything she has. Despite the pain, the treatments, and the uncertainty, she chooses to keep going for us. Now, we are humbly asking for your help so we can continue fighting beside her.

We are her children Jaissa (30), Tam (28), Ninay (22), and Iyah (9) holding on to the hope of more time with our mama.
