Hello, all! My name is Kalen and I'm a pansexual nonbinary trans woman living in the PNW as well an active member of both the furry community and the FGC. Those of you from the furry community may know me as Kalenenocht, and my friends in the FGC, particularly the GGST community, probably know me as Nefirim or more broadly as a member of BAH.

I'm truly grateful for the love and support in these communities, and I'm now unfortunately in a position where I've fallen on hard times and need to ask for some help and support myself.

Two years ago, I was laid off from my job, and despite my best efforts I haven’t been able to find a new full-time position. During this time, I’ve been working temporary positions and gig work to help cover the bills, and as the cost of living continues to rise I've had to spend a majority of my savings and retirement funds just to keep up with basic expenses and house payments. Beyond that, myself and my partner have recently lost access to food stamps due to new legislation that makes us no longer eligible to receive help.

I’m not alone in this. Two other people (my partner and a roommate) live with me who are unable to work and have no income of their own. We’re doing everything we can to get by, but we’re at a point where we need help to keep a roof over our heads. Your support would give us some much-needed breathing room while I continue my job search and work toward getting back on my feet.
