We're in need of help getting caught up on our mortgage before we lose our home. I was out of work for five months; I won't bore you with the details as to why, and we got behind on the mortgage. The mortgage company has granted us a three-month forbearance that started July 1st and ends on Sept 30 to give us some time to get caught up. However, due to our other monthly living expenses, we haven't been able to pay as much towards the mortgage as we had hoped, and now we're fearful that if the mortgage isn't caught up by the end of September, we may very well lose our home.
