Help us save our Home and prepare for Transplant

Hello my Name is Dua’na Ellington and I have had the pleasure of being married to Dwight Ellington for 30 years as of January 18,2022. I believe that God is the greatest Matchmaker. Although not perfect Dwight is perfect for me and I am perfect for him. We have faced many storms in 30 years but not one like the one we are facing now. We were served with Home Foreclosure paperwork on March 3,2022. We need help as soon as possible. We have until April 1,2022 to submit a plan of action with good faith funds to send in to the courts.

We have tried to get help from all the sources we know of but to no avail so now we are trying crowd sourcing from you our friends and family to help us through this one of the toughest issues we have had to face in our life’s journey to date. Please help us to get through a time such as this!!

This couldn’t have happened at a worse time as we are trying to get Dwight on the Unos Kidney transplant list. Dwight is in Stage 5/6 End Stage Renal failure and although currently stable a transplant is our best option to lengthen his life. A stable dwelling is a must have to be added to the transplant list. I never knew it was such a rigorous, and emotional process with so many rules and regulations including a strong financial background. We had that until we had a large insurance payment reversal and we had to use our savings to get those same vendors paid because our best medical practitioners, hospitals, laboratories and current dialysis center were in that payment that was reversed.

Dwight and I have always been on the giving end to organizations like the go fund fund me campaigns and before go fund me if we could be of any help to anyone in need we did just that! Giving actual shelter when we could paying bills you name it if we had the ability to do so we did it!! Now I/We find ourselves in need of some of that same kind of care and benevolence. I must admit I never that I would find us at such a reversal of fortune but here we are. Please search your hearts and help us to keep the only home our Precious Jewel Diamond Elise has ever known.

Once added to the list when a Kidney becomes available;Dwight will need a place to recuperate. Dwight knows our house very well even with his worsening visual impairment he would still be able to get around safely and securely once the kidney transplant comes to fruition!!

Dwight wants to be around to be apart of Diamond’s graduation from Princeton High School as well as

Scarlet Oaks School next year and then move on to

Nursing school. As well as one day walking her down

the aisle to the man GOD has selected for her!!

We want our current home to be the place for her to come home to and share all her successes and disappointments should and if they occur!! We love and thank each one of you in advance for whatever monetary gift you can give!!!
