I lost my dad in October, and since then, my life with my son has been turned upside down. My dad was the only father figure my son ever knew, and he took care of everything for us. Now, I’m left with a mortgage for a house that’s falling apart, and I feel completely lost and alone. The roof is leaking, the kitchen sink is broken, and we barely have enough wood to keep warm. Every day feels like a struggle just to get by, and I’m doing my best to hold things together for my son, who is going through so much himself.
