Our family has called this house home since 1998. It's where my wife and I built our life together, raised our three children, and created countless memories. Our youngest, our 13-year-old daughter, is still growing up within these walls, and we're fighting to make sure she doesn't lose the only home she's ever known. We've celebrated birthdays, holidays, and milestones here. We've also faced our share of challenges: mourning losses, weathering blizzards, and supporting each other through tough times. Recently, we received devastating news from our mortgage servicer: our home is in foreclosure. We tried to modify our mortgage, but the new terms would have meant a much higher interest rate, making things even harder. I lost my job in early 2025 and, due to a disability, haven't been able to find new work. My application for disability benefits was declined, and I'm currently waiting to appeal. My wife has been working four jobs just to keep us afloat, but because of her income, we don't qualify for any welfare services. We're doing everything we can, but it's not enough.

Any funds raised will go directly toward catching up on our mortgage arrears, paying late electric bills, and covering escrow payments for property tax and insurance. This house is 80 years old and may not be perfect, but it's the only home our children have ever known, including our teenage daughter, who deserves the stability and security of the place she's grown up in.
