My name is Sarah, and I’m reaching out for help to keep my family together in our home during the hardest time we’ve ever faced. Our newborn son was born on August 7, 2025, with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, which means the left side of his heart is so small it doesn’t work. He’s already been through more than six procedures, including open heart surgery, and still has two more surgeries ahead. On top of that, he recently suffered a stroke caused by a blood clot, and now has to deal with seizures as well. He’s currently over an hour away from us in the hospital, and we’re doing everything we can to be there for him.
Because of all this, my fiancé had to miss a lot of work to be with our son, and his work season eventually came to an end. He’s found a new job, but hasn’t started yet, and our bills have piled up. Now, we’re facing foreclosure on our home. I’m a stay-at-home mom caring for our daughter, who was born on August 17, 2024, and my grandmother, while also trying to support our son through his medical journey. We never imagined we’d be in this position, but we’re doing everything we can to keep our family together.
The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward our mortgage payments so we don’t lose our home. Any support—whether it’s a donation or simply sharing our story—means the world to us. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read our story. God bless you!
