Our family is facing the heartbreaking possibility of losing our home. My husband, a combat Marine veteran, has been battling PTSD, trauma, agoraphobia, and addiction. I recently discovered that our VA loan home is facing eviction, and because I was only on the deed and not the mortgage, I was unaware of the situation until now. Living in Arkansas, a nonjudicial state, has made our options for keeping our home very limited. We are doing everything we can, including pursuing a cash buyback, to buy time for healing and stability.
We have already invested so much of ourselves and our resources into this home and are now seeking help to secure the future for our children. We are selling our tractor, mower, trailer, and other assets to contribute as much as possible. If we are unable to keep our home, any funds raised will go toward moving and housing costs, ensuring our family can relocate safely and quickly. Our focus is on providing stability, healing, and a path to sustainable farming and service for our children.
This home is the heartbeat of our family’s future. We have three kids under five, a 17-year-old athlete, and an 18-year-old we’re helping toward independence. We moved from Michigan to build a life rooted in faith, farming, and service. We are committed to transparency and integrity, sharing updates with our community as we heal and navigate the next steps. We’re asking for your belief and support to help us keep our family together and provide a stable future for our children. Any help is deeply appreciated as we work toward healing and stability for our family.
