As an immigrant I had to say goodbye to so many places and communities that lifted my spirit and filled my heart. As a dance enthusiast It took me a while to find a place that I felt inspired, supported, safe and challenged in a healthy way. It felt like I found a missing piece of my heart. I was welcomed in open arms and felt a strong connection to Latin dances, and most importantly found the most caring and loving communities of friends. It would be so disheartening to lose this amazing space that has given us so much for the past year  due to COVID .
I welcome you to join me to support this gem in DTLA.
Every single dollar counts.

The studio has been closed since March 15th and unfortunately still needed to pay the operating costs even though they have not been operating. Due to the prime location, monthly operating costs are extremely high ($20,000/month) and that does not include wages for our talented teachers, and the studio is 4 months behind on rent. We are reaching out to our Downtown Dance & Movement family, celebrities, and productions that have been booking this spacous place for the past 5 years. This will only be possible with your generosity and we also value any posts on social media to help spread the word and share our GoFundMe. Meanwhile, online classes are still up and running and that would be another great way to support the studio and teachers.
