Help us Save our Beloved Pandora

About 2 years ago, we lost our first beautiful Tuxie, Panda, to lymphoma. Our hearts collectively shattered the day he entered the Spirit World. We all missed him and seeing his excited prance to welcome us, his twinkling eyes, and his dramatically floofy tail.

Then on one particularly hard day, out of no where, a teenie, tiny miniature version of him appeared in one of his favorite spots. In that moment, we knew we were sent a very special gift from the heavens. In Panda's honor, we called her Pandora. She brought an extra special gift with her, a sister. Since we believe in keeping families together, both were immediately welcomed into our hearts and home.

Pandora, or Pandy, bounced into our lives with this incredibly loving and healing energy. She was all about the cuddles, hugs, and kisses 24/7. Everything was perfect until one day, it wasn't and our Beloved Pandy got so sick very fast. Her energy began to fade and her bounciness all but disappeared.

At about 7 months old, Pandy was diagnosed with dry, neurological FIP. Thanks to her amazing team at FIP Global CATS, we were able to start treatment right away. Our Admins have been pure blessings as they quickly became advisors, hand holders, and the best cheerleaders. To us, they are saints!

For our part, we have to give her daily injections for a minimum of 84 consecutive days followed by an 84-day observation period; monitor her weight, temperature, and appearance; and schedule routine appointments for lab work and follow-up care with her veterinarian.

To date, she is on day 53/84 and has been doing well for the most part. Her gait, coordination, and ability to walk on her own have been restored. She has gained weight, become more active, and her beautiful bounciness has returned.

The money raised will help pay for the cost of the GS medicine, 3 other oral medications (to help control her neurological symptoms), and labs. The estimated cost of the medication plus the remainder of office visits and labs is approximately $1800.

We wholeheartedly believe that these little beings are sent to us for a reason and we honor that commitment. Every day we are grateful to Creator for giving us these opportunities and blessing us with Pandy. She is an amazing little being; so sweet, strong, loving, and (thankfully) forgiving. She deserves so much and every chance for a long, beautiful life! We love her so much and would do anything to save her.
