Help us save our cat Storm after emergency surgery complications

Our cat storm has been through the most terrifying few weeks, and we are desperately trying to give her the best chance of survival.

For around two weeks, she became very unwell with vomiting, refusing food, and extreme tiredness. After multiple vet visits and investigations, they discovered she had a severe intestinal blockage caused by a piece of rubber. She needed emergency surgery to remove the blockage.

The surgery was successful, and we were so relieved. We were told her intestines looked healthy and that they did not need to remove any part of them.

Unfortunately, shortly after surgery, she stopped eating and became very unwell again. She was taken back to the vets, where they found free fluid in her abdomen and raised concerns about a possible intestinal leak and septic peritonitis, as well as aspiration pneumonia following anaesthesia.
