Help us save Ollie's Life

For anyone who has met Brianna or Vito or seen @olliethemalamute 's instagram, you know how much he means to his family. Ollie just turned one year old on March 6th! Like any other puppy, Ollie is a high energy puppy who just wants to run around and be loved by his family! Ollie is their entire world. Unfortunately their world was turned upside down when an incident occurred over the weekend. Ollie bit someone. They don’t know what happened, how it happened or what he was thinking. This was the unthinkable for them. No one expects this to happen. They are devastated. They are devastated for the girl that he bit who experienced this but also for Ollie. Of course their main concern is the girl. Ollie is quarantined at a local shelter and is being held there until their court date. They found a sanctuary called Spirit Sanctuary who will take Ollie in. This sanctuary is located in New York. They will still have to go to court but then they can surrender Ollie over to the sanctuary where he will get to live his life among other dogs who have similar experiences. The owner works hard to take in dogs with a bite history and charges a fee of $5,000. This sounds like a lot of money and it is, however this money covers all costs for your dog. This man takes care of your dog for the rest of his life so this includes, food, medical care and any other needs to provide for the dog. $5,000 is a lot on money and they could use any support or help. They know that this is Ollie's best option for him. They are truly devastated and hope that any help they can get will make this transition easier for Ollie to continue to live his life.
