Hi, my name is Sabrina. I’m a mother of four, a mental health worker, and someone doing everything I can to keep my family afloat after an incredibly painful loss.
Earlier this year, my mom passed away. Her death was sudden and devastating—and what she left behind was more than grief. In the months leading up to her passing, she unknowingly fell victim to a scam, sending money to fraudsters instead of paying the mortgage.
By the time I discovered what had happened, we were several months behind, and now the home is in pre-foreclosure.
This house belonged to both my mom and dad. It’s the home I grew up in—and now it’s the home where I’m raising my own children. If we can’t catch up, we’ll lose the only home that has ever truly felt like ours.
On top of that, I still owe $4,900 to the funeral home that helped lay my mom to rest. I’ve been trying to manage it all—working full time, parenting, and grieving—while trying to fix a situation I didn’t cause. But I’m out of options.
I’m asking for help so we can:
• Stop the foreclosure and save our home
• Pay the funeral home for my mom’s final expenses
• Start to recover from the emotional and financial chaos this has left behind
Even the smallest donation makes a difference. A share. A kind word. Anything.
If you’ve ever lost someone, struggled to make ends meet, or felt like the world was crumbling around you while life kept demanding more—you understand.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading and for holding space for my family. Your support means more than I can put into words.
With love and gratitude,
Sabrina & Family
