Help us save Mixer's Nightclub and Lounge!!!
After nearly 30 years in business, the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has been devastating. With our source of income primarily coming from live music and dancing it has been a struggle to only be allowed to function as a restaurant. While we have been able to serve food, the revenue from that does not come close to covering our monthly expenses. We want to be here at the end providing all the fun, excitement, and memories you all have come accustom to getting here with us. Our last resort is to reach out to our community and start a GoFundMe in hopes to stay afloat long enough to return to normal.
If you have ever danced on our dance floor, had a great meal with us, caught some live music, or just stopped in for a beverage or two and you enjoyed your time at our venue, we ask that you consider donating if you can or share if you cannot. Over the last five years we have heard the stories seen the memories made and been apart of so many wonderful events. Weddings of couples who have met here, Baby Showers for women who spent their young adult years dancing on the dance floor till their feet hurt and so many others. We have opened our doors to many community members at no cost to host memorials, school fundraisers, benefits for people in need. We would do it again in a heartbeat for all of them and more because we believe in community support and giving back.
We are so eager to welcome back our community of musicians, bartenders, staff, and music lovers to one of the best venues in western Maine. We built a stage because the old saying goes "If you build it they will come" so we put in a stage to showcase the talented and awesome local musicians in hopes to be able to provide a space for those that LOVE music as much as we do. Bringing in Tribute bands from all over to give you a taste of all the music you grew up with.
This is the only way possible to keep our doors open long enough to return to normal and to continue to provide a space where all your music dreams come true! We have tried to provide great support to local musicians and artists over the years. WE NEED MIXERS TO SURVIVE, and if you want to be able to come back to see all the live music you want we need your help. We have held on for a year but with crazy bills stacking up and no way to cover them we will not last much longer. A nightclub functioning as a restaurant is very difficult when everyone knows us a live music venue. So don't forget we have dinner specials Thursday to Saturday night and breakfast on Sundays! Our space is one of the largest around and has had so many acts through the doors we have so many plans for when we are able to dance and sing again. If you are able to donate anything, it will help to buy some time until we are able to safely share the live music and dancing together again. We Thank You for all the memories and fun and hope to be here when the STATE returns to normal!
