Hi everyone, my name is Reba, and this is my sweet girl, Monaé.

For those who don’t know us — Monaé is my baby. She’s my 1 year old puppy. She’s silly, smart, sassy, and full of love. She’s my whole world, my best friend, and truly one of a kind.

Unfortunately, earlier today, something unimaginable happened. Monaé somehow got out of the yard and was hit by a car. The driver didn’t stop — they left her there, in pain, on the side of the road. My strong, brave girl managed to crawl under a parked car and waited there until I found her.

We rushed to the emergency hospital, and after getting her stable and giving her pain relief, the vet team ran a full exam. The results broke my heart:

She has a prolapsed rectum,

a ruptured bladder,

and a broken pelvis, with the right side completely detached.

She needs emergency surgery to survive. Without it, she won’t make it.

As hard as this is to write, I’m reaching out to my community for help. This isn’t something I ever thought I’d do, but I can’t lose her. The procedure is $20,000 and we need everything we can get to save her life. If you’re able to donate, share, or even just send prayers or positive thoughts — it would mean the world to both of us.
