Help Us Save Loki

Unfortunately, our family dog Loki suffered a serious accident last night, March 7. Loki is a very playful, loving, and happy Golden Retriever who just turned 2 years old on February 14th. He is full of life and brings so much joy to our family, but sadly he was hit by a car, and we have no information about who was responsible.

We rushed him to the emergency veterinary hospital, where the doctors found several serious injuries. The impact caused bleeding in his lungs, making it difficult for him to breathe, a fractured tail, significant blood loss, and now air is building up in his stomach due to the trauma. Right now, Loki is hospitalized, receiving oxygen, medication, and intensive care. The veterinarians had to place a chest tube to help remove the air and blood that accumulated in his chest. He also needs continuous X-rays, monitoring, and further medical treatment to keep fighting for his life.

Our family has already covered a large portion of the emergency costs, but unfortunately the medical expenses continue to increase due to the severity of his injuries. That’s why we are asking for help. Any contribution, no matter how small, means so much to us and to Loki. Every little bit will help us cover his medical bills and give him the chance to keep fighting.

Loki is a very happy, playful dog who is deeply loved by our entire family, and we truly believe he is doing everything he can to stay with us.

Ayúdanos a salvar a Loki

Lamentablemente el cachorro de nuestra familia, Loki, sufrió un grave accidente anoche. Loki es un Golden Retriever muy juguetón, amoroso y lleno de vida el 14 de febrero cumplió 2 anitos de vida, pero tristemente un carro lo atropelló y no tenemos información de quién fue.

Lo llevamos de emergencia al veterinario, donde los doctores encontraron varias lesiones graves. El impacto le causó sangrado en los pulmones que le dificulta respirar, fractura en su colita, pérdida de sangre y ahora su estómago se está llenando de aire debido al trauma.

En este momento Loki está hospitalizado, recibiendo oxígeno, medicamentos y cuidados intensivos. Los veterinarios tuvieron que colocarle un chest tube (tubo en el pecho) para ayudar a sacar el aire y la sangre acumulada en su pecho. También necesita rayos X constantes, monitoreo y más tratamiento médico para poder seguir luchando por su vida.

Nuestra familia ya ha cubierto una gran parte de los gastos de emergencia, pero lamentablemente los costos continúan aumentando debido a la gravedad de sus heridas.

Por eso estamos pidiendo ayuda. Cualquier aporte, por pequeño que sea, significa mucho para nosotros y para Loki. Cada granito de arena nos ayudará a cubrir los gastos médicos y darle la oportunidad de seguir luchando.

Loki es un perro muy feliz, juguetón y amado por toda nuestra familia, y tenemos mucha fe en que él está haciendo todo lo posible por quedarse con nosotros.
