Help Us Save Kodak

UPDATE 25/02/23

After a long day Kodak is out of surgery after having a hole in his urethra repaired. This hole was undoubtedly caused by the vet doing his desexing procedure. Kodak now has a catheter in to allow his urethra to heal. With this he needs to be supervised around the clock. So this is where things get even more expensive. Kodak is being cared for overnight at ARH which comes at a minimum cost of $800 per night, and Kodak is looking at 5 nights in hospital. Please share this with anyone and everyone, Tiarnee is panicking and so stressed about the cost.

UPDATE 25/02/23

Kodak is still very unwell but he is finally receiving the care he needs and being looked after by vets that know what they are doing. It appears during his procedure his urethra was cut by the vet. This should never happen and the vet is clearly at fault. However, the costs are still mounting up and although Tiarnee will pursue recovery of costs from the at fault vet (with the backing of the fabulous staff at the animal hospital he is in currently), there will still be upfront costs to pay. So please dig deep and help in any way you can. Any donated funds leftover will be donated to ARH Brisbane to go towards helping another family in a similar emergency situation.

Hi, my name is Lauren and I am doing this to help Tiarnee and Shaylen try so save Kodak. Kodak was taken to the vets for a straightforward desexing procedure. When he was collected he was bleeding from around his genitals and Tiarnee questioned the vet. She was told that it was normal and sent home. The bleeding got a lot worse and starting coming in massive clots and pools of blood. They have been backward and forwards to the vets many times and consulted with multiple vets and no one seems to know what is wrong. Now this is where they need help to take Kodak to a specialist emergency vet to get him the help he needs. Things are getting critical and we need your help. Poor Shaylen has had bad luck with pets and she is beside herself thinking that she is going to lose her best friend and is blaming herself. Please help in any way you can.
