We are Bear’s Buddies Animal Sanctuary!
Founded in 2022, Bear’s Buddies Animal Sanctuary (BBAS), is dedicated to creating a safe environment for geriatric and terminally ill small, domestic animals. We are a non-profit organization located on Vancouver Island. Our goal is to houses Dogs, Cats, Ferrets, and Rabbits, allowing them to live out their final days/months (sometimes years!) here on our sanctuary.
We acquired beautiful land here on Vancouver Island and have finally got the plans approved for construction. Currently we are looking for assistance to get two out of the ten cat house built here on our sanctuary. This will allow us to start accepting cats and provide them with the care they need. Each cat house cost about $5K to build.
As a nonprofit organization, we do not benefit or gain from your donations. All proceeds go to the animals, allowing us to provide and maintain the care necessary.
