In Memory Of Jahveen – A Loving Husband, Father & Fighter

We, Nicholas & Sukhi have taken over this fundraiser from Pally. We are raising funds for the family of Jahveen Davis, who has sadly passed away at the age of 48 after a courageous fight against astrocytoma, IDH1-mutant brain cancer — a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer.

Jahveen leaves behind his devoted wife, Pally, and their two young sons, who adored their dad. His loss has left an unimaginable void in all of our lives.

Who Jahveen Was

If you knew Jahv, you knew his warmth, gentleness, and quiet but powerful presence.

He lit up every room — not loudly, but deeply.

He was incredibly active: swimming, cycling for hours, running, and completing triathlons for fun. Endlessly curious, he never stopped learning, reading, and exploring new ideas — even during treatment.

Jahv was one of the kindest, most authentic, and loving people any of us have ever known.

His Story

For nine months before his diagnosis at age 46, Jahv visited his GP multiple times with severe headaches and neurological symptoms. Each time, his symptoms were attributed to stress or tinnitus, and at one point he was told:

“Don’t worry. It’s definitely not cancer. You’re too young.”

So he continued working, pushing through, and unknowingly enduring silent seizures every day.

In October 2023, after a private GP urged urgent hospital assessment, he received the devastating diagnosis: diffuse astrocytoma — a cancer that threads itself throughout the brain.

His Courageous Fight

From January 2024 to October 2025, Jahveen underwent every chemotherapy option available on the NHS.

Throughout it all:
We remained hopeful.
We made memories.
We laughed whenever we could.
We held on to love.

But by April, July, and again in October 2025, the cancer had progressed significantly. We were told that there were no further treatment options in the UK, only palliative care.

Still, Jahv fought with extraordinary courage, dignity, and strength.

Jahveen’s Final Week

On 6th November, Jahveen was admitted to hospital. Despite fighting with everything he had, his body was simply too weak to continue.

We are devastated. He was our everything, and we will never meet another soul as unique, kind-hearted, and loving as him.

On Monday 17th November, Jahveen passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones — held closely and told over and over how deeply he was loved, and how proud we were of his fight and determination.

Why We Are Fundraising Now

We have created this fundraiser to:

• Give Jahveen the dignified and meaningful funeral he deserves
• Support his two young sons with their future and education, ensuring stability during this heartbreaking time

This loss has shattered our family and community. Through our grief, we want to honour who Jahv was — a devoted husband, a loving father, and a gentle soul who touched so many hearts.

Education was something incredibly meaningful to Jahveen — he was constantly learning, reading, and striving for growth. His wish was for the boys to excel academically and, in time, pursue university. We are committed to honouring that wish.
