Hello Everyone,
As you may know, our baby is very sick. He has been at the emergency vet’s ICU since 9/25. He is under 24/7 supervision, medication and most importantly, oxygen support. We have had friends and family reach out asking to help so I’ve decided to accept it, humbly.
As stated, his condition requires 24/7 oxygen support and that has become the biggest expense of his required stay (we are currently at almost $2k per night). The oxygen allows him to continue to build strength so that he may start to breathe on his own. Without oxygen, he won’t make it. Once he is able to breathe on his own without his levels dangerously dropping, we will be able to continue his treatment at home.
For this reason, the doctors are urging us to do everything possible to keep him in oxygen support as he is not ready to do it on his own yet. Hence, this fundraiser. We are also absolutely not ready to give up on him as he is showing improvement day by day.
As a cancer survivor, I know the importance of support and the power of love to heal. I can’t give up on Gravy and I won’t. If you can contribute, it would be forever appreciated. Anyone who contributes more than $100 will be receiving a special gift from me. Regardless, a genuine prayer for my baby is enough.
I thank everyone who has reached out - from family, friends, classmates and even strangers. We are all praying and rooting for his recovery, he knows that. I go to see him 2x a day and talk to him. I let him know Mom is not going down without a fight, he is my responsibility and I won’t abandon him no matter what.
