Our hearts are heavy writing this, but we’re asking for help to save one of the most important members of our family.

Gambit is our three-year-old Rottweiler who means everything to us. He isn’t just our dog — he’s a huge part of our lives and the heart of what we do. Gambit has helped us demonstrate training, socialization, and working dog concepts through our business, DRk9 Services. More importantly, he is our loyal companion, protector, and a beloved member of our family.

Recently, Gambit became critically ill and had to be rushed in for emergency veterinary care. After extensive testing and stabilization, we learned he requires major intestinal surgery to survive. Without it, he will not make it.

So far, we have already exhausted over $10,000 in emergency diagnostics, hospitalization, and care, and the surgery required to save his life is estimated to cost over $20,000. We are doing everything we possibly can to give him a fighting chance, but the financial burden is overwhelming.

Anyone who has met Gambit knows how special he is. He is strong, loving, incredibly loyal, and still so young. At only three years old, he has so much life left to live.
