Ever since I was a child, I’ve had a deep connection with animals. I used to bring home every stray I found. Around 9–10 years ago, I rescued my first dog from a public shelter – a moment that changed my life forever. Since then, I’ve volunteered in shelters and taken part in spay/neuter campaigns.
Over time, I brought more and more rescued dogs home until I ended up caring for around 140 dogs and many cats. The need was overwhelming, and resources were limited. That’s when I reached out for help online, founded an animal rescue association, and—with support from a UK-based organisation—we managed to build our own shelter.
Every year, we spay/neuter between 200 and 300 animals, mostly females. This prevents thousands of unwanted puppies from being born into suffering and likely dying on the streets.
Saving just one healthy dog costs around:
• £25 – spay/neuter
• £30–35 – full set of vaccines
• £7–10 – deworming
• £10–15/month – food
For dogs with medical issues, the costs can rise to hundreds of pounds for surgery, X-rays, blood tests, or CT scans.
This is a daily battle, but I refuse to give up. Every life saved is a step toward a kinder world.
If you can, please help us continue. Every donation, no matter how small, helps give an innocent soul a second chance.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
