Hi my name is Angela and I’ve been on my own since I was 14. Raised my son alone since I was 21 and he just turned 18 in February. I am very proud, but have struggled and the one thing I’ve yet to save for is a washer/Dryer. My closest laundry mat is a 2 hr walk and I have suffered very traumatic things in life that I don’t feel comfortable taking a uber, taxi or bus. So I have walked for years and have carried bags of heavy laundry and groceries for as long as I can remember. I would be so grateful for some support as I never have ever asked anyone for anything in life and it hurts me to do so now. I struggle so bad and cry daily. Looking to erase one piece of added, unnecessary stress from my life because I have way more than I can carry. Winter is always the hardest for me, I am always in pain and I just hope to have a washer/dryer to help me. I have bags and bags of laundry stacked around my house and it gives me anxiety. I just want to feel like I don’t have to stress about having clean clothes for my son and I. Thank you so much for the support. Every dollar helps.
