Hi we are Playing with the Wind, a small, husband and wife organisation who help sick and disabled animals back to health and give them sanctuary.

Diado (grandfather) has spent a long time batting the elements on unkind streets. Just before Christmas I spotted him exhausted in the centre of a nearby village. I treated him in situ for a couple of days until it became obvious there was something more wrong with him.

Last week he was diagnosed with immune medicated haemolytic anaemia, we tried to treat him, but to no avail and he now needs a life saving blood transfusion using one of our young fit dogs as a donor.
