Help us save Copper

Copper came to us from North Carolina.  When we agreed to give him a forever home, he was a healthy 2 month old Lab/Shepard mix puppy.  By the time he arrived( 8 hours later), he was a very sick little boy.  We believe that he was given a toxic dose of dewormer and or flea medication.  We rushed him to the vet as soon as they opened the next morning.  The doctors told us, if we had waited an hour or two, he would have passed away.  Copper has been in the Animal Medical Center since Monday morning and his vet bills are mounting.  We are treating sypmtoms and have been getting updates two or three times a day.  This morning 12/15 his breathing is labored and he is stable.  With his medical bills mounting, I need some help.  The Dr. has estimated a 3-5 day stay in the hospital for him with an estimate of $2000.00.  We have surpased that amount and are unsure what the bills will actually cost.  This entire situation could have been avoided if the "breeder" had been responsible and taken him to a vet for treatment.  Instead, she applied over the counter medication and for such a tiny puppy, this is toxic.  Sadly, Ive tried numerous times to contact her, to ask what she gave him.  Ive made it clear  I am not interested in her money, just saving Copper.  She has refused to respond in any way.  I hate that I have to ask, but I need help saving this little guy.  If we can get him well, Copper will have his forever home, but we have to save his life first.  Will you please help?  Every dollar raised will go to his medical bills.  If we are blessed enough to raise more, any additional fund will be donated to the SPCA, to help save other innocent lives.
