On April 7th, we discovered a sweet stray dog—now named Cleo—hiding behind our trash cans. She was exhausted, hungry, frightened, and in desperate need of help. We rushed her to the vet, where we learned that Cleo is likely suffering from a large inguinal hernia. This condition makes simple tasks like walking, using the bathroom, and even lying down incredibly difficult for her, and it will require surgery to fix. Despite the challenges she's facing, Cleo’s heart and lungs are strong, and the vet believes that with hernia repair surgery, she can enjoy a happy, healthy life once again.

We’ve already started treating Cleo’s skin and eye issues, but she needs more extensive medical attention. We’re committed to giving her the best chance possible—getting her healthy and finding the loving forever family she deserves. To do that, we are asking for your help. Donations will go directly toward Cleo’s veterinary costs, covering diagnostic testing like blood work, x-rays, surgery and post-op care. Every penny will be used to address her medical needs and give her a second chance at life.
