UPDATE 6/26 @ 1:40PM!!!

Channel was discharge from the hospital, all her labs came out good. She will be under meds for a couple of weeks and will need to follow up with her vet. I will be making updates on her post-op. Thank you!

UPDATE 6/26 @ 11:51am!!

My mom is at the vet right now. Our Channel was able to eat something today! They will be running some blood tests to check that everything is ok to discharge her. Her fever also went down. I will be adding an picture of her from today. Once again! Thank you!

UPDATE 6/25 @ 7:22pm!!!!

We just received a call from the vet, she came out of surgery and where able to remove the infection from her uterus. She is awake and trying to move. They will keep an eye on her tonight since kidney levels are a bit high. She has not eaten yet but they are hoping she will soon. We will keep you posted with any updates. Thank you!

My name is Yesenia, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for our sweet dog, Channel. Though she isn’t a registered emotional support animal, she’s been my mom's rock through thick and thin—her love and loyalty have gotten her through some of her toughest days. Now, she needs me and my mother to be hers.

Channel has been diagnosed with Pyometra which is an infection in her urerus and requires urgent surgery to live a happy, without the surgery she can only live 4 days max. The cost of the procedure including meds and hospital stay can be from $4,000 to $5,285, an amount we simply can’t cover alone.

Channel is more than just a pet—she’s family. Whether it’s her goofy tail wags, the way she curls up next to my mother when she is sad, she’s brings endless joy into our life. We can’t imagine losing her when this surgery could give her the second chance she deserves.

We are so grateful for any support, whether financial or emotional. Channel has given me so much; now, I want to give her the healthy life she deserves. Thank you for being part of her journey.
