HELP US SAVE CENTRAL COAST WOMBATS

Donation protected
Hi, Our names are Megan Perry and Rachel Anderson & between us, we have lived in Jilliby/ Dooralong valley for over 30 years. We are also the Admin of The Dooralong Chinwag.

We write today on behalf of the amazing Wildlife carers, Sue Booth, Leanne Hall, Lesley Ward and Cara Turner. Three different Valleys represented.

These volunteers give so much of themselves- long nights with no sleep, endless hours of care, and unwavering love for animals that cannot fend for themselves. They have asked nothing in return, only the chance to see these creatures healthy and free again!
Right now.... they need the community help.
To continue this vital work, we are reaching out to you, to your neighbours, your families and our community for support!
NO DONATION IS TOO SMALL!
IF you are able, please contribute what you can and share this fundraiser so we can give back to the people who give so much of themselves for our wildlife!
Thank you for standing with us in protecting and caring for our Wombats!
OUR WOMBATS ARE IN CRISIS!

More Wombats are being killed on our roads, leaving behind tiny, orphaned joeys who need round the clock care.

Recent floods have caused a surge in coccidiosis, a deadly parasite that slowly kills Joeys and contaminates their enclosures.
Each infected pen has to be cleaned and left unused for at least 6 months

Here's the problem: The team only have three enclosures on the Central Coast. Their ability to take in wombats is drastically reduced- and right now, demand is higher than ever!

A portable wombat enclosure would be a game changer! It can be moved to fresh ground and used immediately, avoiding long shutdowns. It will also give them better soft release options, helping wombats safely transition back to the wild.

The team have been given quotes to build one for $8,000. They have applied for grants, but so far with no success-and time is running out for the wombats already in care.

Every dollar brings them closer to keeping these joeys safe, healthy, and on their way back into the will where they belong.

PLEASE donate if you are able. Every dollar helps no matter how small. Please share this appeal to help spread the word!Together we can give our wombats a fighting chance!!

Sue Booth (Dooralong) Leanne Hall ( Yarramalong) Lesley Ward ( Lemon Tree) and Cara Turner ( Glenning Valley ) Thank you all rom the bottom of their hearts, and on behalf of the wombats who can't ask for themselves!!

Building bridges back to the bush!! Together we can turn care into freedom!
