Laura, founder of TBCR, and the ever-growing team are dedicated to rescuing cats in crisis, providing safe housing, medical care, and loving foster homes. Since spring, she has cared for hundreds of cats and kittens, but now we urgently need your help. Our vet bill at Crossroads Animal Hospital has reached $20,000.
We have shifted our focus to three life-changing programs:
Mom’s Last Litter
- We take in mother cats and their kittens, ensuring kittens are fully vetted and adopted into loving homes. Moms are spayed at no cost to owners, funded through adoption fees.
Critical Care Program
- This program saves cats in crisis who are injured, ill, orphaned, or elderly. They receive urgent medical care, rehabilitation, and specialized foster support before adoption.
Community Foster Program
- Healthy stray adult cats are placed in temporary homes with community fosters when our internal spaces are full. We provide full veterinary care and support until they are ready for adoption.
How Your Donation Helps

- Emergency and routine vet care (surgeries, medications, diagnostics)
- Spay and neuter procedures for moms and strays
- Vaccinations, microchipping, and parasite control
- Specialized care for critical cases like amputations or life-saving surgeries
