Help Us Save Camie

Donation protected
Little Camie was pulled from the shelter last night and her foster mom immediately realized she was sick. Camie's foster mom brought her straight to the vet on Wednesday night.

Sweet Camie spent the night at the ER vet for treatment of Parvovirus. Parvovirus is a deadly contagious virus that effects puppies who haven't built up an immunity to it yet. It causes an infectious gastrointestinal illness to puppies, young adult dogs and unvaccinated dogs. Part of what makes the virus so dangerous is the ease with which it is spread through the canine population. Camie was found as a stray and did not have the proper preventive vaccines to protect her.

Paws Rescue League is a non-profit organization that saves a lot of dogs that other rescues will pass by, they take the unwanted and abandoned dogs and pay for their vetting and care and tirelessly work to find them the best homes possible. They want to help Camie, but her vet treatment is a hard hit for the rescue. They are non-profit and all volunteer run. A vet bill of $2,000 is a hard hit for any rescue.

Please help us help Camie fight this virus and get her on the road to recovery. I know with these hard and unprecedented times you may not be able to spare anything extra but please at least share this post.

Anything and Everything helps.
